The Invisalign™ treatment consists of a series of aligners you switch out every one to two weeks. This clear aligner is individually manufactured with state-of-the-art technology that makes exact calculations to gradually shift your teeth into place.

With the tailored treatment plan advice by Dr. Eugene Chan, you’ll end up with an Invisalign system design custom-made for you.  If you’re ready for a new smile,  Invisalign is your answer.

Although there may be some limitations with the Invisalign system in treating more complicated cases, Invisalign can treat up to 80-90% of most cases, so visit us to know if you’re a candidate.

Invisalign is a popular choice for individuals who want to correct mild to moderate orthodontic issues; some dental conditions we can help with include

Invisalign is the best way to transform your smile without interfering with your day-to-day life. The Invisalign braces in Sydney advantages are:

  • Aesthetics: Invisalign’s clear aligners are discreet and far less noticeable than traditional braces, allowing you to maintain a natural appearance. For example, they can also be removed if needed on social events.
  • Hygiene: Aligners can be removed for regular brushing and flossing, ensuring complete oral care. By maintaining consistent oral care habits, you can minimise the risk of dental problems.
  • Comfort: Invisalign offers a wire-free and bracket-free experience, making it comfortable to wear. Plus, since the aligners are removable, you can eat your favourite foods without worrying about damage.
  • Efficient Treatment: Invisalign is known for its efficiency, with aligners typically changed every one to two weeks, with each new set bringing your teeth closer to their ideal positions.

Most patients can experience mild discomfort when the first Invisalign trays are fitted and when you change the aligner trays every two weeks. Teeth discomfort is minor as the trays use gentle force to move your teeth in the correct position. The pain subsides within a few days.

Invisalign Orthodontics uses a series of custom-made, clear aligners to fit snugly over your teeth. These aligners are made from a smooth and transparent plastic material and developed from an accurate mould of your top and bottom jaw, making them virtually invisible when worn.

Each aligner in the series is designed to make gradual adjustments to the position of your teeth every two weeks; your orthodontist maps out this adjustment process and is specific to your teeth alignment requirements.

The Invisalign™ cost in Sydney may vary from orthodontist to orthodontist and depend on the complexity of your teeth alignment and proposed treatment plan. You will also need to consider the initial consultation fees.

Orthoworx is committed to providing affordable invisalign™ in Sydney; we invite you to speak to one of our trained Invisalign specialists to estimate your treatment costs.

At Orthoworx, we use the following process to assess, suggest and treat every dental concern:

1. Initial Consultation:

During your first Invisalign consultation, Dr Chan will evaluate and examine your teeth, bite and discuss your treatment goals. He will assess if you are suited for Invisalign treatment.

2. Digital Impressions and Custom Aligners:

Once you proceed with Invisalign, your orthodontist will take precise digital impressions of your teeth using advanced 3D imaging technology.

Clear aligners in Sydney use advanced technology to create a model of your teeth and predict the movements needed for optimal alignment.

Known as a ‘Clincheck’, this tool allows us to visualise your treatment goals and helps us estimate the duration of your treatment more accurately.

3. Wearing the Aligners:

Patients will be instructed on how to wear their aligners; each set must be worn at least 20 hours per day for two weeks – removing them only when eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing-.

Patients are usually issued 3 or 4 sets per appointment, allowing your malaligned teeth to evolve into the smile you’ve always wanted gradually.

How to Clean Invisalign™?

Brush the aligners gently with a soft-bristle toothbrush, like you would your teeth.  We suggest cleaning them with a small amount of toothpaste twice before insertion in the morning and each night before bed.  Avoid soaking them in mouthwash to prevent damage.

4. Check-ups:

Patients will have check-up appointments throughout the treatment. These appointments allow Dr. Chan and the Invisalign technicians to monitor your progress, ensure the aligners fit correctly, and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.

5. Completing the Treatment

As you progress through the series of aligners, you will notice visible improvements in the alignment of your teeth. The treatment duration varies depending on your case’s complexity, but the average treatment time is approximately 12 to 18 months.

Once you have completed the treatment, you can enjoy a beautifully aligned smile.
